By accessing or using Movement FAU ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Movement FAU is a community platform connecting FAU students with local Boca Raton, FL merchants through deals, events, and check-ins. The platform is currently focused on the Boca Raton, FL and Florida Atlantic University area.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Student Eligibility
Student accounts are intended for students at or near the Florida Atlantic University. We may verify student status as part of onboarding. Providing false information may result in account suspension.
5. Merchant Listings
Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including discount offers. Movement FAU does not guarantee any specific amount of student foot traffic or revenue. Results may vary. Merchants control their own offers and may update or remove them at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to platform systems
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific results for merchants, or the accuracy of user-submitted content.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movement FAU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
